Day to day Itinerary
Day 01 :
Ariival Arusha

You will be warmly welcomed at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transferred in comfort to Under the Shade Safari Lodge. If your schedule allows, enjoy a relaxed
Arusha city tour with visits to the renowned Cultural Heritage art gallery, a local market, and the vibrant Maasai Market—an elegant introduction to the culture and colors of northern Tanzania.

Day 02 :
Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
The safari adventure starts with a pickup from the lodge at 7:40 a.m., followed by a two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and impressive ancient baobab trees. With the roof of the safari vehicle open, the drive continues through seasonal swamps, open savannah, and along the wildlife-rich Tarangire River, where a wide variety of birds and animals can be seen, including giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. A stop is made at a scenic picnic site for lunch with spectacular views, followed by more game viewing in the afternoon. Later, the drive continues to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :
Serengeti
Karatu - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, departure is made toward the Serengeti, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the endless plains. The journey takes about 4 to 5 hours and, although parts of the road are rough, it offers beautiful views and chances to spot wildlife along the way. If the weather is clear, a brief stop is made at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint to admire the caldera before continuing. A picnic lunch is enjoyed en route, followed by entry into the park for an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets over the savannah, the drive continues to Into Wild Africa for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 04 :
Serengeti Full Day
Serengeti
The day is devoted to exploring the Serengeti from first light to sunset on an unhurried, full-day game drive. The journey reveals sweeping landscapes and outstanding wildlife viewing while
searching for the legendary Big Five. Beyond its famous large mammals, the Serengeti is also rich in birdlife, with over 500 recorded species, including the impressive ostrich, the distinctive secretary bird, and black eagles gliding above the plains. In the evening, the drive continues back
to Into Wild Africa for a relaxed dinner and a comfortable overnight stay. For those seeking something extra special, the day can be enhanced with an optional hot-air balloon safari or a guided walking safari (at an additional cost).

Day 05 : Ngorongoro

An early start begins around 6:00 a.m. with a sunrise game drive, offering wonderful opportunities to see wildlife at its most active. After a rewarding morning of game viewing, a
stop is made at a beautiful picnic spot to enjoy breakfast in the bush before continuing the drive. Around midday, you will stop for lunch and then begin the scenic journey toward Ngorongoro.
Arrival is in the evening, where a warm welcome, dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay await
at Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp.

Day 06 : Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast, an early start sets the stage for a morning game drive as you descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife sanctuaries. The crater is home to an exceptional variety of East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, and is famous for its remarkable concentration of animals. Within this natural amphitheater, you will find rivers, swamps, a soda lake often dotted with flamingos, forested areas, and open plains. The resident bull elephants are especially impressive, with large tusks shaped by the mineral-rich volcanic soils. After about five hours of unforgettable game viewing, you will continue to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in comfort.
