Your adventure begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its massive herds of elephants and the huge baobab trees that dominate the landscape. You'll spend the day on a game drive, exploring the park's diverse terrain and watching for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and many types of antelope. Tarangire is also a haven for bird watchers, with a wide variety of species to spot. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your game drive. In the evening, you'll head to your lodge for dinner and a good night's rest.

After breakfast, you'll drive from Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park (the Seronera area). This is a full day of travel and game viewing. The drive itself is a safari, as you'll pass through the stunning highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the vast plains of the Serengeti. The central Serengeti is known for its high concentration of resident wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You'll arrive at your camp in the late afternoon.

Today is all about exploring the legendary Serengeti. You'll embark on a full-day game drive to find the park's incredible wildlife. The Serengeti is where you can witness the drama of the savanna, from lions on the hunt to massive herds of wildebeest and zebra (depending on the season). Your guide, who knows the park intimately, will take you to the best spots for wildlife viewing. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by nature's wonders. In the late afternoon, you'll return to your camp for a delicious dinner and a chance to relax around a campfire.

Overnight : Serengeti Katikati Lodge 

After breakfast, you will drive north to the remote Northern Serengeti. This is a long and exciting journey, as you will be following the general direction of the migration. You'll have an en-route game drive, with a focus on spotting the herds. This part of the park is quieter and offers a more remote safari experience. You will arrive at your camp near the Mara River in the late afternoon, ready for the migration viewing the next day.

After a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is a spectacular location, home to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or in the nearby town of Karatu. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding highlands. Your guide will brief you on what to expect during your exploration of the crater tomorrow.
