Day to day Itinerary
Day 01 :
Explore Tarangire
Arusha to Tarangire
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport, you will be picked up and taken to Under the Shade Safari Lodge. If time permits, you can opt for an Arusha city tour, visiting attractions like the Cultural Heritage art gallery, the local market, and the Maasai Market. This allows you to experience the cultural highlights of Arusha before settling in at the lodge.

Day 02 :
Tarangire
Journey to the Tarangire
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your lodge at 7:40 a.m., followed by a comfortable two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its vast elephant herds and majestic ancient baobab trees, Tarangire offers a stunning introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Traveling in a private open-roof safari vehicle, you will explore seasonal swamps, open savanna, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Along the way, you may encounter a wide variety of birds, as well as giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. A scenic picnic lunch will be served at a beautiful viewpoint before continuing with afternoon game viewing. In the evening, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :
Serengeti
Karatu to Serengeti
After breakfast, you will depart for the Serengeti, traveling through the beautiful Ngorongoro Highlands toward the legendary plains. The journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and offers wonderful scenery and opportunities for wildlife sightings along the way, even though parts of the road are rough. If weather and visibility allow, you will pause briefly at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint to admire the breathtaking caldera before continuing your drive. A scenic picnic lunch will be enjoyed en route, after which you will enter the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive. As the sun sets and the sky turns golden over the savannah, you will continue to your lodge or camp, where a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await you in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 04 :
Serengeti Full Day
Serengeti Day
Enjoy a full day immersed in the wonders of Serengeti National Park, from the soft light of sunrise to the golden colors of sunset. You will set out on an expertly guided game drive in search of the legendary Big Five while also discovering the park’s remarkable birdlife, with more than 500 species recorded. As the day comes to an end, you will return to your lodge or camp for a beautifully prepared dinner and a peaceful overnight stay. For an extra touch of exclusivity, this experience can be enhanced with an optional hot-air balloon safari or a guided walking safari (available at an additional cost).

Day 05 :
Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha
An early start begins with gathering in the safari vehicle around 6:00 a.m. for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to experience the wilderness while animals are most active. After an exciting morning of expertly guided game viewing, you will stop at a beautiful picnic spot in the bush to enjoy breakfast surrounded by nature. Game viewing continues until around midday, allowing more time to explore this remarkable landscape. You will then break for lunch and begin the scenic
journey toward Ngorongoro. In the evening, you will arrive at your lodge, where a warm welcome, a fine dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay await you.
